Midpoint Update: OCF Challenge Receives $10,000 Gift

On November 29th, we launched our online holiday fundraiser, the OCF Challenge. The campaign saw early success with over $14,000 raised within the first week.

Last week, ECA board member and former Chief Education Officer for the State of Oregon, Nancy Golden pledged a $10,000 donation to the campaign! “I consider it an honor to be able to contribute to Civic Park because it is great for our children and our community,” said Nancy. “As an educator for over 40 years I have seen first-hand the impact that having healthy students makes on their ability to learn. We must provide opportunities for our students to be active and engaged in physical activities, which will happen at Civic Park.”

This week’s schedule of events for the campaign include:

December 20-23 – Donors who give $100 or more will receive a free ECA t-shirt! All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars and a coupon for a free Yumm! Bowl from Cafe Yumm!

December 24-26 – Merry Christmas! All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars and a coupon for a free Yumm! Bowl from Cafe Yumm! Donors will also be entered to win a gift card from Sizzle Pie, Euphoria Chocolate Company, or Off the Waffle!
