ECA Welcomes New Board Member

Eugene Civic Alliance is excited to welcome Todd Johnston as the newest member of the ECA Board of Directors. A Eugene resident for nearly 25 years, Todd is a partner at the law firm Hershner Hunter in Eugene and President of the Lane County Bar Association. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1999 and joined Hershner Hunter, LLP in 2005.

Todd values giving back to the community and currently serves as a mentor in the Oregon State Bar Mentoring Program and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Lane County Campaign for Equal Justice. In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, kitesurfing, and golfing.

In joining the ECA board, Todd hopes to continue serving his community by providing a place that will give Eugene-area residents more opportunities to improve their health and enjoy local sporting events. “I have fond memories of watching games at Civic Stadium in the summer and firmly believe that the community needs space for sports and recreation that we can be proud of and that provides accessible gym and field space for kids. This [Civic Park] is a project that will accomplish both of those goals and I am excited for the opportunity to help out.”

ECA is proud to have Todd join our team during this exciting phase in the Civic Park project. As construction and the capital campaign progress, we look forward to a memorable year at Civic Park!
