ECA Reaches Halfway Mark in Campaign for Civic Park

We are thrilled to announce that the Campaign for Civic Park has reached a major milestone by raising 50% of the campaign goal. Launched in the fall of 2014, the campaign has consistently met key benchmarks on the way to raising the $35 million necessary to build Civic Park.

The campaign picked up momentum this summer as we worked to move the project forward. The summer began with a fresh look for the wall at the Civic site. Volunteers and ECA team members painted a bright new mural that captured the spirit of play and activity that the facility will embrace.

In July, the campaign gained a significant victory when the Oregon State Legislature approved our request for $6 million in lottery-backed bond funds. This success provided a boost to the campaign’s fundraising efforts that was felt throughout the summer. Thanks to generous contributions from individual and corporate donors, as well as local foundations, the campaign is on-track to meet its goals.

This success would not be possible without the support of our community. We want to thank everyone who has contributed their time, effort, and finances to making Civic Park a reality. We are confident that with the continued support of our community, we will reach our fundraising goal. Once we raise 80% of the construction budget, we will break ground on the Civic Park site.
