ECA Hires Business Development and Events Director

Eugene Civic Alliance is excited to announce a new addition to our team. Last month, ECA hired AJ Gaulton as the Business Development and Events Director for Civic Park. An Oregon native, AJ grew up in Pleasant Hill, Oregon before graduating from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.

AJ’s interest in sports led him to positions with franchises in some of the country’s top leagues, including Major League Soccer, the National Basketball Association, and the National Football League. For the last four years, AJ served as the Operations Director with French Quarter Festivals, Inc., instilling operational efficiencies and meaningful growth for their three annual festivals in New Orleans, LA.

In addition to being a sports fan, AJ is a dog-lover and when not outdoors, can be found on the basketball court.

AJ’s work in the sports and events industries will provide valuable experience in his new role. As Business Development and Events Director, AJ will oversee rentals, sponsorship, events, and other operations at Civic Park. We’re thrilled to have AJ join us as we prepare to open Civic Park this spring.
