Give Play Campaign Enters Second Week

Last week, we launched our annual Give Play year-end fundraiser. The campaign kicked off on Giving Tuesday (November 27th) and included events at Viking Braggot Co.’s Southtowne Pub and local Carl’s Jr. restaurants. 

On November 27th, Viking Braggot hosted a Pints for a Cause fundraiser for Civic Park at their Willamette Street location. The event included live music from Breakers Yard, great food and rinks from Viking Braggot, and some fun ECA raffle prizes. Following the campaign launch, Carl’s Jr. hosted a Carl’s Cares fundraiser for Civic Park on November 29th. All Lane County Carl’s Jr. locations donated 50 percent of food and beverage sales to ECA. Kidsports teams and staff members visited many of the Eugene/Springfield locations to thank donors and celebrate the progress the campaign for Civic Park had made thus far. 

This week in our Give Play campaign, we have some fun contests and prizes lined up for donors. And, continuing from last week, The Human Bean will provide everyone who contributes to the campaign with a coupon for a free 16oz  beverage from any Eugene/Springfield Human Bean location!
