Celebrate Global Health and Fitness Month!

May is Global Health and Fitness Month. To celebrate, we want to share with you some of the ways that Civic Park can help improve the health of people in our community. Each week this month, we will focus on a different aspect of health that can be improved by increasing opportunities for people to be physically active.

The series will begin next week, May 8th, by highlighting the mental health benefits associated with physical fitness. We’ll continue the discussion throughout the month with posts focused on the physical, emotional, and social health benefits associated with exercise.

We envision Civic Park as a place where people of all ages can stay active and be fit. From KIDSPORTS Toddler Tumbling classes to senior fitness programs, and every age in between, Civic Park will provide people in our community with greater opportunities to enjoy the benefits of physical activity and to Play On!
