Bev Smith Named Woman Business Leader of the Year

 ECA Leadership Team Co-Chair, Bev Smith was recently named Woman Business Leader of the Year by the Eugene Chamber of Commerce. Bev’s work with local youth as Executive Director of Kidsports earned her the prestigious award. During her time at Kidsports, Bev has expanded the impact of Kidsports’ programs and allowed more children in the Eugene area to participate in youth sports. Her focus on developing each child’s physical literacy and equipping young athletes with the essential fitness skills they need has had a positive impact on thousands of local children and we are honored to have her as a member of our team.

The award was presented at the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce’s Women Business Leaders award luncheon at the Eugene Hilton. Local business and community leaders Celeste Edman and Gretchen Dubie were also nominated for the award.
