Take the OCF Challenge!

This holiday season, thanks to a generous $100,000 challenge grant from Oregon Community Foundation, gifts made to Eugene Civic Alliance will have a greater impact. The grant provides ECA with an exciting opportunity to double the impact of donors’ gifts by matching them with funds from the grant. In other words, every gift given to ECA during our year-end fundraiser will be matched by Oregon Community Foundation, up to $100,000! That means that a $100 would be matched by the grant, doubling the gift to $200.

The year-end “OCF Challenge” fundraiser will kick-off on #GivingTuesday. Occurring this year on November 29, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving weekend and the widely recognized commercial shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The event celebrates the holiday giving season and inspires people to give to the charities and causes they support in their local communities.

This year will mark the the second year that ECA has participated in #GivingTuesday. In addition to each gift being matched by the OCF grant, the OCF Challenge campaign will also feature contests, donor prizes, and more. Check back here each week for an updated schedule of events for the campaign.

 

Schedule of Events – November 29 – December 26

November 29 – #GivingTuesday Celebrate this global day of giving by showing your support for Civic Park. All donors will be entered to win gift cards from Sizzle Pie!

December 1-4 – Donors who contribute to the campaign will be entered to win ECA merchandise and Euphoria Chocolate Company gift cards!

December 6-9 – Donors who give $100 or more receive a $10 Off the Waffle gift card (while supplies last) All donors receive 20% off the ECA online store and a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars!

December 10-11 – All donors will be entered to win a Lane United FC prize basket and receive 20% the LUFC online store.

December 12-16 – Donors who give $100 or more receive a $10 Off the Waffle gift card (while supplies last) All donors receive a voucher for a free classic doughnut from Voodoo Doughnut and a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars!

December 17-19 – Donors will be entered to win gift cards from Euphoria Chocolate Company, Sizzle Pie and Off the Waffle! All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars!

December 20-23 – Donors who give $100 or more will receive a free ECA t-shirt! All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars and a coupon for a free Yumm! Bowl from Cafe Yumm!

December 24-26 – Merry Christmas! All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars and a coupon for a free Yumm! Bowl from Cafe Yumm! Donors will also be entered to win a gift card from Sizzle Pie, Euphoria Chocolate Company, or Off the Waffle!

December 27-31 – All donors will receive a $5 coupon code for Picky Bars, a voucher for a free classic doughnut from Voodoo Doughnut, and a coupon for a free Yumm! Bowl from Cafe Yumm!
